We guarantee this Kitten to be healthy and free of congenial defects at the time of sale. This Kitten will most likely stress after being in your home for 24 hours or up to one month. This will consist of a runny eye, or nose, or possible diarrhea. This is not serious, and should go away in a few days by itself. If it should turn into a medicinal problem it should be brought to my attention at once. If you would like me to take the Kitten back and get it over the illness, I will be happy to do so, and will pay all of my vet bills and medications that my vet recommends. I do not pay your vet charges or medication bills.

Kittens should not have their diets suddenly changed. Continue to feed with a mixture of Innova Evo. If you will be feeding a different type food, change gradually. Start by adding a little of the new food to the original food, each day adding a little more of the new food. Continue adding more new food and less old food until it is finally eating all new food.

If the cat should die from this condition that it had prior to leaving here, we will replace the kitten free of charge, except for the charges incurred in shipping it to you if needed. We will need proof from your Veterinarian that the kitten had this condition prior to leaving Coonberries Cattery. You will need to pay any shipping costs and carrier cost of the new Kitten that I will supply if needed.

If this Kitten should have a condition that causes it to have an early death (5 years or younger) we will need proof from your vet, and that it was a condition that the cat had prior to leaving here. In this case we will either give you a Kitten free, or at a reduced price, according to our discretion. We do not give refunds for any reason. We do not pay your Vet bills or reimburse you for them.

This kitten will be registered with CFA. The parents of all my kittens are registered with CFA and TICA. This Kitten is eligible to be registered to either of the 2 Cat groups listed above.

If this kitten is sold as a breeder we will guarantee it to produce kittens if bred to another cat that is productive, unless infertility results from an injury or disease occurring after the purchase date. If a breeder Cat is not fertile (except as above), the breeder will replace the cat with one of equal value as decided by the breeder. Cats sold for breeding purposes will have registration papers provided at the time of purchase. If they are not at this time available, they will be made available as soon as possible after purchase.

If this Kitten is sold as a Pet, it must be neutered or spayed by the time it is 7 months old. If the Kitten is already older than 5 months at the time of purchase, it must be neutered or spayed within 2 months of purchase date. Upon the breeder’s receipt of veterinarian’s verification of altering, the buyer will be provided with registration papers.

There is no refund on either the deposit or the total cost of the Kitten. If you have placed a deposit for one Kitten, and you decide you want to change kittens for some reason, you may do so before taking the kitten home with you. If you take him home and for some reason the Kitten is not working for you, we will allow you to bring him back and choose another kitten. This exchange must take place within 1 week of taking the original Kitten from Coonberries Cattery. The kitten you change to will be of the same price as the Kittten you are exchanging.

Kittens are sold with a medical record outlining vaccinations and treatments administered while in our possession. The purchaser agrees that this Kitten will not be declawed, and that it will be an all-indoor Cat. This Cat may be outside only on a leash and under close supervision. If the purchaser goes ahead and has the Kitten de-clawed, we will not be responsible for any behavioral or medical changes it might cause.

The purchaser also agrees to the following:

- If this cat is to be exposed to cats who are being shown, and or cats new to the household, and/or indoor-outdoor animals, we recommend it be vaccinated with a four-way vaccine at 6 month intervals. Queens should be vaccinated one month before being bred.
- Cats who are not being shown or exposed to at-risk cats (as described above) may be vaccinated yearly.
- This Cat will not be denied needed veterinarian attention.
- This Cat will not be allowed outside except on a leash, under close supervision.
- This Cat will be properly fed and will have fresh water available at all times.
- The Cat will receive frequent and kind human attention.
- The Cat will not be de-clawed.
- If you cannot retain ownership of the cat, the breeder will be given the first right of refusal of the cat and for no more than the original purchase price of the cat. Additionally, the purchaser agrees to obtain the breeders permission before selling or leasing an unaltered cat from this cattery to any other party for breeding purposes.
- No cat from this cattery may be bred to other than a registered Maine Coon Cat.
- No cat/kitten from this cattery may be sold or given to an animal shelter, sold or given to a pet store, abandoned, or sold or given to a laboratory.

CHANGES OR ADDITIONS TO THIS CONTRACT MUST BE INITIALED BY ALL PARTIES

it to be legally binding.
Leagal disputes over this contract will be held
in a court chosen by the breeder.
